Andrew Wardenaar

Andrew Wardenaar has been a member of Playwrights West since February 2011. His play, The Sweatermakers, premiered in August 2014, produced by Playwrights West in association with CoHo Productions. Andrew is also a director and an educator. In May 2014, he graduated from MFA Directing program at University of Portland, where he now teaches Introduction to Fine Arts. Additionally, Andrew is the founder and artistic director of Orphic, a nonprofit organization that commissions playwrights to write contemporary adaptations of Greek tragedy, which are then workshopped in conjunction with a summer internship for college students.
